The Mill Tavern - Manotick

My experience at this restaurant is always fantastic. The wait staff is efficient, friendly, and willing to accommodate any requests. I decided to try the steak sandwich on pretzel bread with a side salad. The sandwich, which is usually served open-face on French bread, was delicious. For dessert, I had the Cinnamon Puffs topped with caramel and whipped cream, which was the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend trying the Puffs as they are exceptional. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon.

Tonight, I had the fish and chips again, and my friend raved about the new sea salt batter. I had the regular version, which was light and delicious. The establishment also offers proper Earl Grey tea and traditional fish and chip vinegar from the UK. Our waitress was enthusiastic, fun, and incredibly helpful, which added to the overall delightful experience. It was refreshing to encounter such great service, especially when compared to the sullen and impolite behavior of some other establishments. The only disappointment was the cheesecake, which was served lukewarm instead of chilled, making it unappetizing. Despite this, we plan to return as we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the cook's knowledge of British cuisine.

Great live venue, service is awesome with friendly attentive staff. Great spot to sit on the patio with some friend. Strongly recommended to everyone to try

Love Live Music. This place is a reliable venue for Live Bands. The acoustical characteristics of the building provide for a well balanced sound. Several popular acts tend to rotate, with an occasional and delightful surprise booking.The food is good. Everything that I have ordered from the menu seems to have been prepared with care, and delivered promptly. They have a special 'malt/sea salt ' variation of fish and chips that is a favorite of mine.Lots of imported and domestic taps.This place is FUN!

We took advantage of a groupon and visited this place for the first time on Saturday night. Given we were at Tavern, we had the Fish Chips! Fabulous! Tried both the traditional batter the Sea Salt batter? Awesome! Loved the crispiness of the sea salt batter! Great service too! We'll make the drive from Ottawa west again for our next craving of fish chips! Great service too!
