Restaurant Weingaertner - Mannheim

We went there for a family reunion of sorts, and all the dishes were great. Try the Zander (a unique local fish); it's excellent, flaky white fish with an (unknown but delicious) sauce. Also good: the Zartes Schweinnfillet (pork loins). Plus, they Limoncello for after dinner! If schnapps is your prefernece, they offer eight varieties. Service is friendly and speed is average (this is not a fast food restaurant in any sense of the phrase). Relax and enjoy the cozy surroundings.

Had business dinner here and with set menu, excellent quality and nice plates. Soup, salad, fish for main an creme brûlée for desert. Location can be tricky for a parking spot.

Tucked in the backstreets of Mannheim, we found this cute very authentic German Hotel and Restaurant. This was our first meal on our roadtrip, menus were in German(which we don't speak), the waitress was a sweet as could be and helped us out. We were not disappointed. Great beer, wonderful food!!

The restaurant is beautiful! Old style German house which keeps the atmosphere likr you are back in the 1800's! Even though we had a big brunch that day, we ate everything is our plates without leaving anything to clean back in the kitchen!The service was superb, the food was spectacular and the experience was incredible!! Looking forward to go back and try other menu!!

Not impressed, I waited 30 minutes to place my order and only got the attention of the staff by calling them to my table! For me not a good experience!
