Subway - Manlius

Always good for a quick meal. The store in Manlius,NY has the most friendly and happy Subway Associates ever. At the end of the day, it is just a sandwich, however, the great exchange with the Subway Associates behind the counter made the visit well worth it.

Eh. They were lacking several items, only one choice of bread, couldnt toast, and the server was cranky. Food was good though so not a total fail.

They 've gone downhill lately. Often closed when they are supposed to be open according to the hours. When you go in during non rush hours the employees (on their phones or in one case their laptop) act like you are bothering them by ordering food. Soda machine gives you flat soda so far I 've mentioned it to a manager and 2 employees about it... been 2 months and its still busted. Not to mention half the soda options are out of order at all times. Worst part is they skimp badly on their meats compared to other locations. I love subway, but never again at this location until management changes.

So El Esposo is coming hoe from 'Cuse, and this is on the way. We live about 20 minutes south, in the woods. Delivery doesn 't happen here through GrubHub or any other service. It 's in the middle of no where... But that 's not a problem, because I can just order a sub and El Esposo can pick it up on the way home. You would think that is do-able... Apparently not. When I called the store, a friendly teen told me Um, we don 't do call in for pick ups any more. We do, like, GrubHub. Well, I was like, not pleased. So I thought I 'd just go online and order one. Nope, you can only order catering from this Subway. Or GrubHub. Where would I have Grub Hub it delivered to? My husband 's truck in their parking lot?!? This is ridiculous. Subway, you lost a customer today. Bryne Dairy 's sandwiches are a heck of a lot better, AND WITH BRYNE DAIRY YOU CAN CALL IN AN ORDER FOR PICK UP. Why is calling in an order by phone an impossibility at this store?

This is literally one of the worst subways. We live in Manlius and often go there out of convenience and leave for one reason or another. We only go because my children like the bread. Half the time they don’t have veggies, the ice machine isn’t working, no chips, etc. but it’s covid supply chains aren’t what they use to be. No problem. Normally the employees are super nice, polite, and patient with my children so we come back. The girl today was not. Super rude when I asked if I could put salami on a kids sub after my son said he didn’t want just cheese she said no. I said I can pay extra it’s okay I don’t care seriously what’s an extra $2 or whatever) She argues, but does it. Then when I asked if she could microwave my turkey and bacon because I’m pregnant listeria) she refused. I explained I’m pregnant. And she proceeded to yell at me in front of my children about my perceived attitude. There was no attitude just tired. I asked my son if he wanted to eat somewhere else. She then says “okay bye, leave, have a great day” I’ve literally never had an issue before at this subway or an other subway and this is my third pregnancy. All of this was after waiting 15 minutes with my one year old and three year old because she was making online orders. I’m sure she’s just tired and overworked, but her behavior was ridiculous.Just go to Wegmans in Fayetteville in you want a sub.
