The owner puts a remarkable amount of care into their cooking. When you order an omelet, you won't just find a few chunks of vegetables; instead, the veggies are finely chopped and generously fill the omelet, contributing to a delicious flavor that you won't find at any other restaurant in town—all at reasonable prices. This is a place where you’ll never get bored, as the menu includes some unique entrees that have all been delightful. The perch dinners deserve special mention; there are perhaps three other places that compare, but now The Broken Plate takes the lead. I have to ask: how does Joe, the owner of The Broken Plate, manage to create such an exceptional flavor with the perch? The prices are surprisingly low for such high-quality food. Please keep it up, Joe! You provide us with top-notch meals. The atmosphere is unpretentious and incredibly friendly.

Today, I had the garden veggie omelette with toast and their homemade jam, and it was genuinely one of the most delicious veggie breakfasts I’ve ever had. I also highly recommend the corned beef hash and any dessert on the menu—the pies are absolutely heavenly. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Broken Plate is definitely our favorite restaurant in Manitowoc! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious! We appreciate that they’ve added outdoor tables so we can bring our dogs along while we enjoy our meal. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience at a great price.

I had lunch with my family and we really enjoyed it. The menu had a great selection. Some of us ordered wraps while one person had a sandwich, and everything was very tasty. We found parking on the street just around the corner. We’re looking forward to returning with more family members for lunch soon!

I visit at least once a week, and my personal favorites are the pancakes and the breakfast wrap. This restaurant has a wonderful family atmosphere, and they really make you feel welcome. It’s a great small business!
