The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. The vegetables were steamed instead of being soaked in oil.

We were delighted to discover this family-run restaurant with only 5 tables, all of which were occupied by the time we arrived. The vegan options were delicious and served by the children. We are so grateful to have found this gem!

There are not many choices for vegans in the Upper Peninsula, especially outside of the summer season! China King provides a range of tasty vegan dishes at affordable prices. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to provide information about ingredients. I sampled the General Tso's Tofu and the vegetable lo mein, both of which I would highly recommend. If you opt for the General Tso's, I suggest requesting an extra side of vegetables.
