Fresh Cafe Expert - Manhasset Hills

This place is literally around the corner from us. We recently went there for date night, as the pandemic appeared finally to be winding down. It was busy as can be on a Friday evening. There were only two waitpersons, about half what they need, but they managed to stay friendly, cool, and helpful. The crowd (including us) was apparently exclusively over 50, or at least 45, but loud. So, the atmosphere was enthusiastic, if not romantic. The food was excellent, at least what we sampled. I had the Continental Salad, which was cool, and refreshing...good for a very warm day. The Veal Saltimbocca was superb...pounded thin and super tender and flavorful. It was served on a very generous bed of cooked spinach. This will be one of our local favorites going forward.

We live in Manhasset and come here often. The eggplant parm is delicious! Try the shrimp fra diavolo over spinach. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great wine list!
