Cascata De Pedra - Mangualde

Stopped in on our way to our holiday destination and really gald we did. Traditional Portuguese restaurant, very busy and for good reason. We didn't make a reservation and waited about 30 mins for a table for lunch. Had the steak and chicken.... The portions were massive, the steak of excellent quality and very well cooked. Nice bottle rose wine was 8 Euros...... Can definitely recommend....... And really friendly and efficient service..... Brilliant

If you come for lunch make sure you get here early and make a reservation! Every table was full by 12:30pm. They accommodate dietary needs and have the menu clearly labeled for each allergen. We ordered one dose of the vitela with mushrooms and we had leftovers (see pics). All the dishes around us looked so appetizing. Highly recommend.

It's a very busy restaurant and we had to wait some time to be able to get a table but it was worth waiting. The people working there are very friendly and the food is very good. Quality of the food 5 stars and the quantity also gets 5 stars. You will not leave the restaurant with an empty stomach.
