A brother/sister run the trattoria (very young, but very professional and charming), and mama works in the kitchen, too! We would have paid several times more for the same quality food and beverages if we were in Alba. Open for lunches only. We enjoyed local dishes topped with black or white truffles such delicate flavors to all dishes they prepared for us! We dined there several times as a result (it was about one mile from our lodging). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (especially now during truffle season). Reservations recommended for Saturday and Sunday. I believe they are closed on Monday.
A very simple restaurant next to a sports set up. The food was tasty and good potions. We paid double the night before for food that was no better! The zucchini tart was delicious as was the pasta, ravioli in sage butter. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
It might be a bit strange that the restaurant seems to be a cantine at a sports park, but the food is very nice do try the anti pasti, they are wonderfull! and it is all very much in a family atmosphere.
I loved this place. The portions were huge; one of the best plates of carne cruda I ate in Piemonte. The food was very good and delicious and is very affordable. The trattoria is clean and has a comfortable setting and a decent wine list to boot. Staff is very friendly and it was a very enjoyable meal.
