This is in a small place on the water. Amazing service. Good and attentive. The food was okay. The usual vegetarian options can be found here. Vegetarian Gado Gado etc. My curry was delicious. Sweet and sour tofu was good. The price is good.

Amarta has one of the best views in all Candidasa, right on the water line, with a fantastic 180-degree view around the bay. Even better, it has a cheap menu of vegan options that are delicious and welcome on this side of the city. Staff know and understand veganism, and if encouraged, all options will also offer outside menu you may enjoy. Ideal for breakfast, lunch or even a romantic dinner directly on the water (please ask for vegan candlelight dinner options). Insider Tip: If you order drinks, or food, or both, you can spend the day happy around Amartas Pool, enjoy the view, food, drinks and service and their private beaches without paying for a room.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during our evening stroll and were drawn in by their advertisement of vegetarian food. They offer a separate vegetarian menu with a wide selection of dishes that can easily be made vegan upon request. We tried the 'vegan feast for two' and it was delicious and generously portioned - we couldn't finish it all and ended up taking some tempeh to go. I'm usually not a fan of tempeh, but the dish we had was outstanding. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality and quantity of food make it worth the price. The restaurant is situated between a stunning garden and the seafront, making it a peaceful and charming spot. We truly enjoyed our dining experience and believe it is the best place to enjoy a lovely evening in Candidasa.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and the location, although slightly off the main road, was fantastic as it was right by the water. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with generous portions and at a very reasonable price. It was a bonus to see a separate vegetarian menu available, although I believe most of the options were vegan.
