The Dune - Mangawhai

Highly recommend. Beautiful place for a girls night, or family dinner. Ambiance is amazing and so are the staff. Food was faultless, which I don’t say often. We had the special seafood tasting plate (phenomenal), Asian pork ribs, seared tuna and Margarita pizza.

We had a fantastic experience at The Dune Mangawhai. The service was exceptional, and we felt well taken care of from the moment we stepped in. The staff had arranged for us to sit next to the fire, which kept us warm in the chilly 12-degree weather. The food was absolutely delicious, and the manager and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend The Dune Mangawhai to my friends and family.

Absolutely excellent all around! It's a hidden gem in a place you wouldn't typically expect to find one. The food is of high quality; it might be slightly pricier than anticipated, but it's not outrageous. The service is exceptional, and we loved the intimate, relaxed atmosphere. They also offer great vegan options, along with gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. Highly recommended!

Ideal family fare for our whanau visiting. 6 Children 4 Adults, menu had dishes for all tastes. Delighted all. Relaxing atmosphere all on a large table! Thanks Dune team
