Guthu Family - Mangalore

This used to be one of Mangalore's best restaurants, serving authentic coastal cuisine. However the place has since been taken over by different managements and has currently lost its charm. It is a bar and restaurant located on the top floor and is currently undergoing renovations. Do try their Guthu special chicken, which is chicken gravy wrapped in an omelette. A meal in itself!

Authentic mangalorean restaurant if u want to taste the typical old mangalorean food it's a good place with maintaining local village kind of atmosphere . Mangalorean thali is good. Chicken starters are good especially chicken drumsticks with tangdi kebab. But u need to wait too long to serve the food.. chicken hakka noodles and dhum biriyani are really tasty ... Good thing about this restaurant is dessert fresh like juice.. if u want to enjoy with bear food one of the better place in falnir area...

May be a good place for drinks but definitely not for food.

Gutthu once upon a time used to be a very good place for mangalore food and style.. !!

It's a casual place to sit, enjoy a meal, and have a few drinks. The dimly lit atmosphere adds to the experience. Overall, it's a great place to gather and enjoy good food.
