The Tea & Coffee Merchant - Mandurah

Most reviews are for the location and speed of the service. the 15yo loved the chicken-cheese brot and apparently the cattleburger was good, but the chicken-teriyaki-wrap was extremely light on huhn and the BLT-Turkish brot was roasted like resistance. the coffee was good, nothing exceptional and the tee was strong (they know that although and offer hot water to manage it). the banana milkshake was a good size, but not for bad shape elsewhere, that was not worth paying the dollar.

Ordered the big breakfast, banana pfannkuchen and some coffee. all perfectly cooked and aromatized meals. especially enjoyed the well seasoned cooked mushrooms. pancakes were so fluffy and perfectly boiled (sometimes this is often a hit and miss put on others). great coffee. great service. drinks and eating came out in time, although the place was packed. great location on the ufer. pleasant experience. would definitely return and recommend.

Came to the breakfast on a last day trip to mandurah. beautiful place on the water, but eating was good and really disappointing. between us four we ordered the eier benedikt, spinat benedikt, pfannkuchen and pochierte eier, of course coffee). eier benedikt was literally drowned in plentiful amounts of hollandaise sauce makes the brot beautiful and soggy, spinat benedikt version was the same with a handful of raw leaves on top, pancakes saw more promising but broken apart my 2 sad poached eggs were literally served with 2 slices cheap. there is no love in the food. coffee was very bitter to add insult...read more

A late afternoon tea, although still closing an hour for the caffe. it was quiet and right next to the water, good venue to relax and have tee! the coffee was good. the cream puppet we got was not the best, a bit soggy as it can be done at some point and absorbs the moisture. service is average.

Very disappointed we went here because we heard it was good. Thought it was expensive. After we ordered we waited approx. 40 minutes for coffees a soup I did order some wedges but they never turned up. Never go there again plenty of other places to go Merchant pick your game up.
