Rips On The Lake - Mandeville

It was a group of 4 and 2 of us ordered the redfish plate. Apparently our order took awhile because they had cooked the wrong fish. Once I tried the redfish it was way overcooked. Was looking forward to good seafood but those 2 plates were a disaster. Also another person has shrimp and grits and found it to be swimming in sauce as well as dry grits. Not recommended

If you can get a table on the porch, you'll LOVE this place. The pan friend redfish special was loaded with crabmeat and my margarita was outstanding. Highly recommend.

It was a family reunion yesterday for noon. As the family waited for the table of 7 do be made I went outside for a few minutes to look at the lake when I can back I had to walk by the bar and the server just happen to complain that they had ordered 7 old-fashioneds.I did look and made a small smile. When questions where asked about the menu they server would just say it's on the menu. They are from out of town and my grandfather is 95. He should have just answered the questions. Party of 6 for Sunday brunch on the veranda. Great service (Rebeca); food very good, nice portions and reasonably priced. Worth the drive from Metairie.

Came to celebrate a good friends birthday! Great food!
