Fat Boy's Pizza - Mandeville

We've been to the Covington location many times for take out only but for our Mandeville trip we decided to dine in around 12pm. They were still working on the building, fixing up the garage door so it was a bit loud inside between all the construction noise and the TVs. Here is the most important thing to know about Fat Boy's. Get the huge pizza. The smaller ones don't have the same chewy crust or greasy goodness of the big boys. And the reheated individual slices are good, but no match for a fresh one straight out of the oven. The big pizza is a fantastic version of New York style pizza, which means folding that big old slice and letting the grease drip for a few moments before digging in. Pizza was amazing as was the staff. They were all nice, and the pizza was great as always. I always like yo get mine cooked EXTRA CRISPY!!!! It brings what is already amazing pizza to a whole nother level. If you have not had it this way give it a try, and I am sure you will like it. They also made my order very quickly. I was shocked how quick it became available.

It is hard not to like a place that has delicious pizza and cares about their pizza served. Every time I have family in town visiting I always bring them here as I have converted them to fans as well. I just got my HOT slice here at Mandeville. Staff was very nice and friendly and the pizza did not disappoint. I always get mine extra crispy because it brings it to another level of deliciousness!!!

Don't come here on a half full stomach! The pizza portions are massive, and the service is good too. We had one issue with our food and they took it back and fixed it without any drama. I'd put the quality of the pizza above the typical delivery pizza. The salads are good too. The only item I don't care for are the cinnamon knots. Don't plan on eating more than one slice of pizza unless you know what you're doing.
