Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant has a wide selection of products, including Booja Booja chocolate, and has a lot to choose from. However, I was disappointed that they only offer a 10% discount to students in the UK. This policy is not fair.
I enjoy dining at the 8th Day because I know I will get the nutrition I need for lunch. However, I find the menu options to be limited and the portion sizes could be more generous. The cake selection is fantastic, but prices are a bit high for a student neighborhood.
The restaurant offers a variety of delicious savory and sweet dishes to choose from.
On the Eighth Day is an institution in Manchester located on Oxford Road, with a fabulous vegetarian shop on the first floor selling hundreds of products and a vegetarian and vegan cafe below the shop. I had avocado on toast with mushrooms and tomatoes, although you can add tofu or sausages to the breakfast if you wish. My husband had a full vegan gluten free breakfast, both dishes were delicious, just check out my photos. I love 8th Day, both the cafe and shop, loads of options, with a huge display of vegan cakes in the chiller cabinet in the cafe and every kind of product sold in the shop. One of the best vegan breakfasts in Manchester. Updated from previous review on 2016-06-20
I was very unimpressed by this place and I wouldn't recommend it. The food was okay but nothing special and it wasn't cheap either. There was an okay choice but for a vegetarian place I was expecting more vegan options.
