King Street Tavern hasn't been open for long and instantly strikes as somewhere different for Manchester; part of King Street Townhouse and the Eclectic

My godmother was staying here with her husband, as a result I was lucky enough to spend some time in the bar and restaurant.

First visit and I can highly recommend Lunchtime two course deal and the food was fabulous.

I wait when they couldn't find our reservation even though I'm showing them on my phone. we were directed to the bar to buy drinks. Unfortunately, a barman was very unforeseen and needed help to serve us much to the annoying of the other barman. we were finally shown our table in the back room, which was very nice and quiet. we ordered our food and it was delicious. I found that although we were consistently asked whether everything is in order, we still seem to have a little more waiting time between cursing than we would normally expect. we asked for comments and after 5 minutes we had to ask someone else. I ordered a drink that never arrived, but gave up to reorder him. when the bill was there to see that the drink was on him, as well as another drink we never ordered. then I had to get her to take him off. the restaurant is beautiful and has a beautiful atmosphere, but I feel that some of the staff are very unorganized. they go out of their way to make their experience a pleasant but not constituent.

Beautiful eating, relaxed atmosphere and great service! will come back
