Food Fair - Manchester

This restaurant used to be known for its amazing kebabs and top-notch takeout service. However, they have recently raised their prices and have switched to using lower quality meat, such as chicken thigh, which does not taste as good as the chicken breast they used to use. It's a shame to see the decline in quality.

Wait for ages then no Nan bread food cold by the time it turned up very apologies but that’s not the point and not the first time

Went here yesterday as it was closest place for food. The customer service left a lot to be desired then when the food came I was shocked. Under cooked meat, no salad with the kebab, when I asked for a couple of glasses to go with the bottle of pop he came back with two tiny sauce dipping pots, said that was all they had, laughed and walked away. I asked where the salad was that you usually get with a kebab his reply was you never asked for any, I said I've just paid you £22 for this terrible food, you can't go wrong with salad so I would like it please, it seems you actually can get salad very wrong too. Couldn't even bite into the naan bread because it was that hard. 3 staff behind the counter all talking in a different language, laughing and then looking at us, doesn't take a genius to work out they're talking about you, and your actually the only people eating in. That was my first and last time eating at food fair. I usually give places a second chance as a rule but because of the total lack of customer service I will avoid this place at all costs. I ordered food from this takeaway last night , doner calzone and chicken and chips. My partner ate it and has not been well at all today. I rang the takeaway to advise them in case anyone else orders it today and maybe they need to investigate it, however the man I spoke to on the food completely disregarded what I said and said ‘must have been something else definitely wasn’t us he must have a bug, goodbye.’ Not a very professional approach by a business and absolutely no care for their customers. Will never order from this takeaway again.

I love Food Fair being going for years and years. Since 95 Always pricey but food was good and portions a plenty. Unfortunately I think it is the end of an era! Sad but much like a lot of Swinton takeaways they are bought for the name to sell sh*te for a a higher price. Chicken is small portioned and greasy! Pizza is stodgy and not tasty. Kebabs are like the worst in the world!!!!! Salford food hygiene 5! Yes in a tester year!!!! If anyone can find the chilli sauce the used to do elsewhere please advertise as the current one is pish! Shame
