Black Dog Ballroom Nws - Manchester

I went there for a staff party and it was alright. The food was good (even though the nachos were a bit too spicy), the staff was nice (I liked that the guy in the bar remembered my order) but they had no blackcurrant. They’ve got a smoking area upstairs that closes at 10pm and after that you have to smoke outside. They have a good taste in music, beer pong, pool tables downstairs and a karaoke room, which I loved (the only disadvantage is that when you’re singing with someone at the same time, the microphones do not seem to work. Microphones work properly when they’re used one at a time). Overall I had a good time, I might go again with my partner.

I had such a good night at weekend, around 100 members of staff attended the office Christmas party, the staff were welcoming and friendly the bar manned all the time, food was served buffet style, lots and lots of it, we booked the karaoke room and the beer pong which was great fun, thanks all for a fab evening.

The bouncers were rude and unnecessarily aggressive. Went someplace else and had a lovely night. Wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Probably one of the best places in town to play pool with decent food on offer; bonus for the terrace upstairs and the nice staff

Had a fantastic time having Bottomless Brunch this weekend at this place. Jodie made us feel welcome and offered fantastic service. We had prosecco coming out of our ears and couldn’t be happier. It’s rare to find service this comfortably fantastic, so thank you Black Dog and thank you Jodie.
