A pleasant surprise in Samal Must try! Alfonso the owner is also the menu, he will recommend food depending on whats available in the market

It’s a bit difficult to write a restaurant review when you haven’t sampled the food. We searched for this restaurant based on it being in the top 2 of Samal; we followed directions using Waze, and were led down an unpaved road to the beach… we got out and found no signage and looked around but found nothing. Unless Waze had the wrong co-ordinates maybe this restaurant has closed.

They brag about European hospitality but when we came here, we were immediately turned away by the foreign owner (who says he’s the menu) and insinuated we cannot afford their food because it’s a fine dining place.

Fantastic! I’m so glad we gave this place a try. The ambience is great it’s a beautiful, historic but updated and enjoyable quirky room. The food and service were fantastic. Cocktails were delicious. Fantastic attention to detail with all the food. Really looking forward to going back.
