Sumo Japanese Steakhouse - Manassas

We went to Sumo to celebrate our son?s birthday. It was nice but the food wasn?t awesome as it had been in the past. I was glad to see everyone using a mask and then cleaning everything with bleach as the patrons left .

Staff was super friendly and so cute ???? they joked with us and were so helpful. we felt so special ! was definitely the best choice for our anniversary dinner :

Our first visit went okay but we recently went back for a second time and noticed how dirty and sticky everything is. The bathroom is a crime scene, one toilet was broken we heard a customer in the second stall desperately trying to get the toilet to work. I wonder if a business allows their restrooms and areas used by customers to be in that condition, what?s going on in places we can?t see. We won?t be returning and recommend traveling a bit further to a very nice

Beautiful restaurant! Friendly staff! I felt welcomed. Staff helped me pronounce one of the entrees I wanted to order, and I thought that was very nice of her. Any questions I asked, she was very helpful and answered them. I ordered Unagi Donburi! It was delicious! I got it specially ordered, and the chef fixed it exactly the way I wanted. This was almost a great experience. We got one sushi roll and hibachi. We waited AN HOUR for hibachi because there was only one guy doing it. We got the Flaming Amy sushi which was really good. The filet and scallops hibachi was very good but the chicken hibachi was massacred. It was so dry and tough, I think he forgot about it.
