Living On The Veg - MANAHAWKIN

This place is awesome, I've been coming here for years. I go a lot when I'm on vacation in LBI, and also when I'm in Manahawkin.

I got a Chuckwich sandwich delivered and it was a delight! A lovely bbq seitan sandwich that did not disappoint in any way! Only regret is that I didn't have it sooner!

This was our first time at the Manahawkin location, although we had enjoyed a past visit to the old LBI spot. The new location has more seating, which is a definite benefit. My husband and I split the Olde City Sandwich and the Chuckwich. Both were delicious, but the Olde City was our favorite. The kids loved the açaí bowls. We finished with brownies and crumb cake for dessert. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more menu items in the future.

I had low expectations due to the pictures on the website, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the BBQ seitan wrap (subbed for a spinach tortilla and took out the tomatoes). You get a side salad in a condiment container and I got the carrot raisin one. It was sweet and smoky and both were very good. The staff was nice too and it was affordable.

This is the long awaited second location for Rob and Lauren’s Living on the Veg Vegan Deli Juice Bar. It features the same lunch and breakfast menu with over 2 dozen delicious choices as the highly successful Beach Haven Gardens location on LBI. The best made sandwiches, wraps, bowls and salads you will find in New Jersey. They also serve some great smoothies and fresh pressed juices. But, the big news is that this location serves DINNER! The menu is excellent and worthy of the finest foodie clientele. Dishes like Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Grilled Lavash (Moroccan spiced cauliflower), Seitan enchiladas and “crab” cakes featuring hearts I’d palm, dill-caper remoulade and fennel-orange salad will leave you happy, satisfied and healthy.
