Parallax Snowcat Dinners

I just spoke with the inn and they are unfamiliar with this place … they said it doesn’t exist… Mammoth Mountain Inn has no idea.

Great service, even when super busy the staff is on top. Food is great and you can't beat the views.

We have gone to the Parallax Restaurant twice and brought out children. The first time, was pretty good, the second time, mangement has changed and it was not worth the money. It is supposed to be a special occasion, and the only thng that was specail was how much money was spent I would have to say .... Never Again.

As a foodie I skied here for lunch excited by the prospect of a fine dining experience. However at the entrance I was turned away from an nearly empty dining room at the height of the lunch hour. Only mammoth black level season premium pass holders are allowed to dine here. If something is so extensively exclusive, apparently to afford the wealthiest few privacy, it should tastefully not have a sign nor be listed on the ski hill map as an option.

I have not been to the Parallax Snow cat dinners, but a few years ago Parallax offered wonderful white-tablecloth sit-down lunches. I wish they would bring that back! It was so civilized on a day when McCoy Station was packed with people sitting on the floor.
