The Warming Hut - MAMMOTH LAKES

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which was great. We decided to get our food to go since my wife has a wheat allergy. We ordered one sandwich with a gluten-free bun, but when we got home, we found the gluten-free bun placed on top of a regular bun, which had melted cheese, meat, and a pickle slice on it. To make matters worse, the bottom half of the bun was missing. This showed that they were aware of their mistake but didn’t take the time to correct it. Additionally, the regular fries were quite oily. On a positive note, the other meal we ordered was just as recommended. My advice is to avoid this place if you need to customize your order for dietary restrictions.

Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is great for children as they offer paper, crayons, and high chairs. Parking: It can get crowded at times, but we usually find someone leaving a spot. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is equipped with a ramp for easy access.

We came in here around 2pm and there's still a waiting line. Expecting a better food given the price. I was curious about the 4.6 rating. That's why we opted for this restaurant. Sadly I was disappointed on the food. I ordered a steak sandwich thinking that the steak will be cut thinly or cut to a managable portion. This is my fault that I expected, but it's literally a steak between buns and dressing. The chicken and waffle, the waffle is soft and crusty very delicious. As for the chicken is too salty and the breading is not sticking to the chicken. It could also use the little more time in draining the oil. Burger is very good. Fries are soggy and very oily. 15% tip is included for party of 6 or more. Which we don't mind because service is great. Outdoor is also availableWheelchair accessibility: Inclined ramp is available

We picked this restaurant for the vegan options they had but the customer service and pie will probably make us come back. Very friendly staff. Our server, Joey had great hair lol Customer service was great. Highly recommend making room for the strawberry raspberry rhubarb pie.Vegetarian options: You can replace the egg on the Veg Head Hash with avocados for no extra charge.Kid-friendliness: The kid’s brunch menu includes a banana split with is split banana topped with yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and sliced almonds.

Rich is fantastic! If he’s your server, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful experience. The mimosas are delicious, and the breakfast options are amazing. You'll leave feeling satisfied and happy!
