Noodle-ly - MAMMOTH LAKES

Super well went a few times while we were in mammut for the weekend. everything was fresh and delicious. the staff was very nice. would definitely go back.

I and my fiancée came from the bay area to visit lake Tahoe-Mammoth lakes area. we wanted to try something she never tried. I always enjoy a good arc of pho, but she never tried. we chose this place to be lunch. they enjoyed this place for lunch. she has the chicken noodle bowl. regular size, w/rice noodles. I ordered the rare steak nudel- large size with rice noodles. they have this sweet sauce called omgsauce and it was amazing for our two dishes! the broth were very deep in taste and rich. the menu is simple and short, but not to be deceived, it lacks taste like no other.

Killed it! great veggie nudel. only here so far, but best place in mammut.

The bbq bubbles ordered. pretty good. noodles had a big texture, only fried enough to add the taste of the broth. the chili sauce on the side is delicious, vinegary and embarrassing. service is chaotic and slow. the greatest downfall: too salty, could not finish my broth. it seems to be a common thema from the other reviews.

My family and I visited Mammoth for the first time for a long weekend, and this is the only restaurant I would recommend to anyone planing to visit. I wouldn't say I'm a pho connoisseur, but I have been eating pho for my entire life and order it regularly. After many mediocre meals, I was blown away. It was SO GOOD. My only complaint is that I wish they had appetizers: spring rolls, egg rolls, etc. Regardless, make sure this restaurant is on your list to go to when you visit.
