Camiguin Volcan Beach Eco Retreat Dive Resort

The Resort is very nice, it feels like being in the jungle. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately the wifi in the room didn't work, and it's in a slightly inconvenient location, but overall we were happy. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 2

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The place is not even that Nice. Lots of Mosquitoes. Unaccomdating Staff/Manager. Let me share My experience with them recently: CASE OF UNJUST ENRICHMENT (Volcan Beach) 1. When my drivers requested to upgrade to an AC room, the staff/front desk didn 't even think of confirming with me first (and to think I was the one who booked with them since Day 1) They just proceeded without my consent. We knew about it from my drivers alone that they upgraded to an AC room, but NOT from the resort staff. If the drivers didn 't inform us, would they even have the decency to inform me? 2. We originally booked 2 Standard Fan rooms. But since the drivers upgraded to an AC room, the other standard room was left unused during our entire stay. The staff were insisting that they could not accomodate the 1300 excess of our unused room (difference of the AC room and the unused Fan Standard Room) They could have just opened it to other guests. Or let us pay the room that we used. It was just a straight NO from them.. They could have At least made a little adjustment/accomdated us since we already paid full for the 2 Standard rooms even before we arrived. We didn 't insist on getting literal money back, but we opened that maybe they could accomodate us with something else like Food or Drinks. Answer was a straight NO from them. VERY UNACCOMODATING. 3. Manager is not available even if there are already complaints from the customers. The staff says he is OFF on Sundays. I mean, what manager does that?? All the more he should make himself available supposedly because there are customers who want to speak with him. 4. Demanding a Full Payment even if we have not checked-in yet. We believe it is to their advantage because they impose NO-REFUND Policy. 5. Unprofessional and Arrogant Staff (even the owner). Using words that are not appropriate. (Like telling us quits na from their Front Desk Officer Theresa) GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.
