Sea Shore Garden Beach Restaurant

We were drawn to this restaurant by its inviting lights on the beach in Mahabalipuram. Although we had just finished eating, we decided to give it a try and were delighted by the warm welcome from the staff. This cozy family-run restaurant by the beach is just our style, and after enjoying our first beer, my husband and I agreed that we must return to dine here during our stay in Mahabalipuram, hopefully tomorrow. The staff are hardworking and friendly, and we look forward to updating our review with details about the food. In the meantime, keep up the great work!

We stopped eating on the beach. manager and server were extremely friendly and helpful. we chose our fish from the daily catch and they prepared the fish excellently. we all thought the meal was one of the best we had in tamil...Well highly recommended!

A rick stone recipe and an excellent meal when rather slow service, but it was at the beginning of the service. this restaurant is literally on the beach right from the main street and over rough floors. well recommended, but take a torch. when they arrive late or go.

For the world-famous (their cake) rick stein red snapper curry. the big man was here years ago for a red snapper curry. the signage tells them everywhere. we were not disappointed. great fresh fish. excellent taste depth in curry. rustic. but a great place to see the waves. very tasty.
