Eli's Kitchen - Mamallapuram

I had the most incredible dinner at Eli's in Mamallapuram. The dishes were creatively prepared and served with care, using fresh ingredients that resulted in surprising and delicious flavors. Eli, the host, made the evening even more special. If it wasn't my last night in town, I would definitely have returned. Thank you for a lovely evening on your stunning rooftop terrace. I will be back!

Eli is a fantastic chef with unique dishes, served on her stylish yet cozy terrace in the fishing village. She is a strong and lovely woman, making her restaurant a beautiful and elegant surprise in the humble neighborhood of Mahabalipuram. Gorgeous!

We dined at Eli's place yesterday, June 24th. Despite initially struggling to find the location due to Google Maps directing us through narrow alleys, once we arrived, everything was perfect. The ambiance and food were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the energetic and passionate host. Our meal included shrimp, fish curry, pepper chicken, and appams with chicken stew. Additionally, we indulged in three decadent desserts: banana, lavender cake with berries, and mango cheesecake. All were incredibly delicious! We look forward to returning when we are in the area again. I recommend contacting the owner in advance for specific directions to the restaurant.

The place was a bit difficult to locate, but I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious May it was the pawns, the red sauce pasta or the Chana with parota. Excellent aromas. The desserts were amazing to the Nutella... cakes, the filter coffee cheesecake and even the Tender Coconut Payasam. Too bad we missed the Banoffe Pie. Last but not least, Liz was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful, fresh, comforting food, an absolute must visit when in the area. This is cooking at its best, I had slow cooked pork with mash and focaccia, hubby had tiger prawns and rice. Would recommend both dishes, the dishes were served with the biggest smile,...this is food cooked from the heart and served with genuine love and pride, and rightly so!!! We will be back!!!
