Stazione - Malvaglia

We verleven voor een night in een airbnb in malvaglia en kwamen voor het avondeten terecht in dit restaurant. het was een heerlijk zomerse avond en we konden gelukkig nog terecht op het terras. de menukaart bood voor elk wat wils, van een pasta en een pizza tot een humble schnitzel voor de jongste eter. we hebben he met plezier en met smaak gegeten. we kregen de indruk dat het restaurant vooral door de local bevolking bezocht wordt, wat we zelf een aanbeveling vinden.

We always come back to this pizzeria when we are on the way. often it is our first night after the gotthard, so our holiday start or the last night before the home trip. we are looking forward to home. the restaurant is usually very well occupied and it is worth booking. we find the pizzas super and the price/performance ratio is correct. the personal is very friendly and you can order the house wine (merlot). it fits perfectly with the pizzas and tastes good.

We have fed very well here and can only recommend this restaurant with tessinerflair. we were there at an evening when the restaurant was fully booked. (night before healing) and yet, it was all good. we have to wait a little longer, but we liked to buy that.

I was in this restaurant on the evening of May 1, 2017. I could satiated my appetite with a green salad, an entrecôte of beef and finish baked cream and berries for dessert. First of all I can say that the appearance of the restaurant from the outside may seem very rustic or village bar but what is then proposed in the menu is classy, especially for the way the food is presented. The care of each dish is optimal and I think the kitchen staff is very attentive to these details. I'm talking about the quality of the food I tasted. Nothing to say in negative, I didn't expect to find myself so well in this restaurant. green salad was abundant and well seasoned. The very tender beef and surrounded by fresh vegetables, some fruit and decorated with balsamic vinegar syrup. The cream cooked with the berries is also very good, very soft and fresh. Friendly and accessible staff. Quality restaurant, definitely to try. Recommended!
