Gim Wah - Maltkiln Lane

1st of all, realize this is NOT an upscale boutique Chinese restaurant. This is an old school American style Chinese restaurant and they are awesome for what they are. Try the Oyster sauce Beef, the Gim Wah chicken, Almond chicken. None of it is gonna win a culinary award but throw down another Gin and Tonic and order up some chicken chop suey you will love it !

Very solid food, great strong drinks. Excellent bar and barkeepers. Old school, a relic. Gim Wah is the best

Food was drowning in cooking oil, the dining room smells of pee and mildew. I've heard the bar is okay (no personal experience) but this dining experience was...... something. Oh yeah, we also saw dead cockroaches in the entrance. I recommend eating here so you can see what I'm talking about.

My son and I loved our dishes : they were perfect and delicious. Also, we received excellent service

Going here for drinks is fine, but I wouldn’t go for the food. It’s more of a bar than anything.
