Contribuiți la feedbackThis was such a wonderful surprise. We went here not knowing what to find and were so glad we did. The food was excellent. Fresh and home cooked. The owners were friendly and made us welcome . we fully recommend this restaurant. much better than alot of the seafront ones.
We found this restaurant by chance when exploring Malpica on our recent holiday to Galicia. We liked the look of the restaurant as most of the customers appeared to be local and Spanish. For both our visits there were many Spanish people in the restaurant including one very dapper old gentleman in his suit and trilby. From both our visits we felt that the hosts took pride in the restaurant. We initially ate here early in our holiday having a selection of raciones at lunch time. We had several sea food dishes, including calamari, octopus and the largest prawns I have ever seen. The quality of the food and service was excellent, it was reasonably priced, spending around 50 Euros for a meal for four. We particularly liked the fact that they did not speak much English so we had had fun trying our our non-existent Spanish, causing much hilarity to the staff. We liked this restaurant so much that after our initial visit, we returned later in our holiday. The food and service were just as good as previously. It was our favourite eatery from the holiday.
We decided to test it, by appointment of a local inhabitant. We asked a lobster rice, one of their specialties, but the food had too much salt. As a starter we asked octopus small portion and the salt also was a problem.
