Forsterbrau Malles - MALLES VENOSTA

Food was good, not excellent but average, service very friendly...the only very disappointing thing...90 minutes waiting time with just 10 tables to be served. When food arrived we were not hungry any more. Hope this is not the normality. Prices rather high for the quality of food served.

The food and beer were excellent as was the efficient and friendly service and the cost very reasonable. The restaurant has a nice view from the terrace and is downhill from the centre of the town. It’s just a pity restaurants consider their terraces as “outside” and allow smoking as well as smokers to leave inside to smoke on the terrace. Even ensuring smokers are placed allocated down wind would be an improvement.

First, the address listed on TripAdvisor is wrong. Here is the correct one: Via General Ignaz Verdross, 12, 39024 Malles Venosta BZ, Italy We had the Sixtus, a doppelbock and the Heller Bock. Both were fanatic and come as .3 or .5 liters. We were given a breast with mixed bread, with a beautiful pink cheese spread to put on it and little cups of a polenta soup. We ordered the stuffed chicken breast which was filled with sun dried tomatoes and cheese served on a salad of arugula abs heirloom tomatoes. We also had the pappardelle with mushroom sauce. Both were phenomenal. Everything was delicious.

Food in the media, very kind staff, but one thing makes me put stars: We've booked, we're here and they've got us sitting inside. no request for the green pass (which we had) , not even to the gentlemen next to us arrived immediately after and passing like us, tourists, and not to all the others arrived later. I'm sorry, but these rules should be respected. sin

In the context of a valley characterized by mostly family-run rooms, with all pros and cons, forsterbrau is a very professional brewery/restaurant, with a beer menu but well-prepared and well-presented. discreet choice of beers, forst, of course. Friendly and attentive service, high prices (one first to be even with mushrooms well euros). Positive experience.
