I made a reservation for afternoon tea at The Vintage Rose for my mom's birthday, and I couldn't be more impressed. They went above and beyond for us, even writing a birthday card which was a lovely touch. The sandwiches were delicious, and after requesting the menu in advance, I was able to make some changes to suit our tastes. Hayley was extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The cakes were also amazing and a generous portion size. It was definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to host parties, events, or birthdays. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options. Overall, I give it a 10/10 rating.

I would 100% recommend this place to anyone ! I had the narnia afternoon tea ! It was 100% worth the money , the cakes were filling and the scones were delicious, but the cakes ? Wow !! They were absolutely exceptional! The owner is welcoming and friendly, nothing is ever a bother ! One of us is dairy free and they were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome . It is wheelchair and buggy friendly ,plus dog friendly too! So all the furry friends can join !

I went here recently as the theme was Narnia ! What can I say! Its exceptional! The decor, the ambiance, the atmosphere! You can really see how much the owner cares about the place. The cakes are delicious, so moist and filling ! The cake portions are huge ! Well worth the money ! There are so many vegetarian and gluten free options , I Will definitely be back ! 100% recommend to anyone in the Maldon area ! It's a hidden gem !
