Rose Crown - Maldon

My group of 7 stopped by last night for a meal and drinks before strolling through the Christmas market. The restaurant was crowded, but we managed to snag a table and promptly placed our order at the bar. Our food arrived quickly, all at once, and was delicious with no errors. The staff was friendly and efficient, despite being incredibly busy. Definitely recommend a visit here.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the restaurant on Wednesday evening when I stopped in for a couple of drinks before dinner. We had to wait in line at the bar for over 10 minutes. We considered leaving and finding another place to go but we were running short on time. The restaurant was dirty and untidy, with plates and glasses left on nearly every table. There were only two staff members behind the bar, and only one of them was actually serving customers. Despite these issues, I decided not to leave a one-star review because I could see that the young girl working hard to serve everyone with a cheerful and pleasant attitude.

I absolutely adore this pub! Wetherspoon is the best. The prices are unbeatable compared to other nearby pubs, and they still offer a great selection of beers. Long live Wetherspoon!

Called in today for lunch while out in town with my son. Place was busy but we were able to find a table no problem. Went up to the bar and ordered our food and collect our drinks. A short while later our food arrived all correct and tasted good, no issues. Venue was busy but tables were clean and staff friendly, nothing not to like.
