District Kitchen - Malden

It's a lovely and cozy restaurant with friendly servers. Most items on the menu are delicious. We tried the crispy honey shrimp dim sum, juicy pork dim sum, pork noodles, and egg fried rice, all of which were great. The cocktails were enjoyable as well, and the portion sizes are generous.

Finding parking was a bit challenging, but overall, it was a lovely experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was friendly, although we noticed they didn't check on us too often throughout the evening. We ordered a mocktail (mint berry lime) and an espresso martini to start. For appetizers, we had scallion pancakes and wanted to try the pork dumplings and the XXL dumpling as well. For our main courses, we chose General Gao chicken and beef brisket noodles. I would definitely recommend the General Gao chicken and the pork dumplings!

The customer service was outstanding. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, is well-organized, and beautifully decorated. Every dish we tried was delightful, particularly the Mala Mama dumplings, which were incredibly juicy and perfectly seasoned.

What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding, but what truly made our visit special was the service. Daniel and Phoebe welcomed us warmly, and even though we hadn't made a reservation, they were able to seat us at a table that had just opened up. This isn’t your average Asian restaurant; the cuisine is genuinely authentic. Watching the chef from the bar area adds a unique atmosphere to the place. Daniel was generous with his time, guiding us through the menu and suggesting dishes that matched what we were in the mood for. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned with our family the very next day.

The food here is amazing! I visited with two friends, and we didn't have to wait long at all. The waiter was really nice too! I ordered the vegetable dumplings and crab Rangoon, and I have to say, the Rangoon might be the best I've ever had!
