Pizzeria Gabbiano - MALCESINE

We were on our back from a walk to Cassone when this place virtually invited us inside for lunch. The menu is huge but I fancied straightforward pasta carbonara. It arrived quickly, beautifully presented on the plate, piled high and steaming hot. Clearly quality ingredients had been used as it tasted sublime… creamy sauce, fresh bacon and tender pasta. Best I’ve ever eaten. Service was good, prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served. And what setting could be nicer than eating lunch on a warm October day by lake Garda. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is in an amazing position by the lake, ideal for dinner watching the sunset over the mountains. First rate service and top quality food, so good that after eating here for the first time we returned the next four evenings of our holiday. Can highly recommend the fillet steak and also the duck breast in orange sauce.

Excellent food staff and ambience. Sat by the lakeside for two evenings, had fish and pasta. Good wine list, not too long or too expensive.Superb. Met the chef, told him he deserved a pay rise! Limoncello or grappa to finish!
