Sale E Pepe - Malahide

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant after living in malahide for over a year. We ordered the baby ribs, wings and goats cheese for starters. The winged were decent, the ribs were well cooked how however the sauce definitely came from a bottle, the goats cheese felt like it came from a frozen packet! For mains we ordered the chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken jambalaya and the seafood linguine. The chicken and back wrap had the texture of a bouncy ball, the jambalaya and the linguine had obviously came from two late over heated pots and most definitely not freshly cooked. Most definitely the worst meal we have had in malahide in year. Don’t be fooled by the reasonably priced wine, it was just as bad. Stay away! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Wouldn't recommend this place again never normally critize restaurants but need to leave this comment. The waiter was very rude and he was impatient. We hardly had a drink and wanted our order and we could hear him shouting abuse at another member of staff The food was lovely but the experience was not so will not be returning Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. We are in a group of 12 people and ordered several dishes. All good. I ordered a Jambalaia, which is a mix of rice, sausage, chicken and shrimp that was very tasty. I would order again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Malahide village. The food and service was excellent. The only thing to be careful with are the stairs leading up to the restaurant. They are quite steep but there are railings to hold onto either side of the stairs. I would certainly recommend eating here.
