Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem, behind a church from street view. Extremely popular and busy for lunch from hours 1330-1630 with people waiting for a table. Their menu is in Spanish only, our waiter was friendly and spoke English offered their daily specials. We ordered Gambas Rojas €25 Grilled Prawns with Salt was just alright and very salty. Not all of their dishes are great or even good. But the Mar y Tierra €16, Swordfish with shrimp, sauteed sweet bell peppers and onions stole the show. The swordfish was cooked perfectly, the protein was moist and delicately soft, the sweet bell peppers, onions in the sauce delighted the senses of my palate. This was the first time I tasted swordfish that wasn't overcooked and dry. It was a wonderful dining experience to taste fish not overdone. This was my highlight of the day, highly recommended. Another waiter delivered a garlic shrimp to our table by mistake and charged us for it, but it was taken off our bill. It was very salty and I didn't care for the taste. Tiramisu is available on their menu. No public WiFi, credit cards accepted.
I will start with what we ordered and the cost. Two bottles of good white wine two glasses of tinto de verrano 2 beers 8 diners 2 russian salads 1 plate of fried green peppers 2 plates of stemed mussels 1 plate of sauteed clams 2 plates of fried fish 1 plate of fried chicken crochettes 1 single portion of barbecued tuna fish 1 plate of fried octupus cost of meal for 8 people 120 euros. Nice new tapas and fish bar situated a little of the beaten track in malaga next to the street where my son lives, good service, clean plates, quick and attentive staff and overall a good experience with great value, the only thing that was not good was this, the first plate of crochettes were cooked on the outside and frozen inside this is due to the fact that they are frozen and then fried to order we ordered another plate and they wee perfect and basically had a great time i would return and have no doubt that this recently converted bar now a restaurant will prosper as it is one of a kind in the area. Good luck rita, gennaro and gianni, Naples Italy.
Had lunch and it was wonderful, very tasty and good price for the amount of food you get. Had Dorada, fish of the day with veggies and mushrooms. It is hidden behind the Ermita de Zamarrilla by the plaza of Calle Marmoles, so you won't see it just by walking the street side. Their specialty is fish and everything that has to do with sea food. Boquerones are great and delicious. I've been there twice and would go again. Don't miss it in your visit to Malaga.
