We were looking forward to some great seafood. We were totally ignored by the staff serving people who all came after us. The waiter was mostly busy throwing away toasted bread he had burnt and due to his inefficiency it was never possible to meet us. When we were asked to serve, we were basically turned away. We left and we'll never come back.
The neighbouring Dani Garcia has been going down hill ever since it was re-located. Now Caviar House Prunier is following down the same slippery slope. When we arrived at 2.30pm (normal lunch time in Spain) there was only one other couple on a busy Sunday....That should have been a warning. We ordered one plate of Pata Negra for two. Usually more than enough, but here there were just 8 shavings from the ham, including much fat and skin that other Spanish establishments discard. When we questioned the price 35€ the somewhat surly waitress merely replied that it was 100 grams. We then had two salmon tartares. Pre-prepared minced not chopped fish, perhaps salmon, but not decent quality, with a few very tired lettuce leaves, 21€ each. The bottle of Verdeo Verdejo was not bad, but massively over-priced at 34€. When we left they had two more customers and a lot of empty seats. Clearly most other travellers have already learnt their lesson We have now joined their number. An expensive April foolery!
I ate at Caviar House in AGP airport several times as I fly often for work. Th food is healthy, fresh and delicious. I enjoyed coming here for some nice yummy relaxed food pre flight.
Thot I’d treat myself before plane food , what I had was nice . Over priced but that’s airports for ye, lady that served me just turned to her phone at every moment , noticed customers leaving as they weren’t getting attended to, won’t be...back
