Yellow Dog Cafe - Malabar

This place is not at all what you would expect driving past.Look, I drove past it even though I had GPS on. It was not impressive on the outside. But then you walk in and WOW! Great stuff.The food was quite tasty, our server was very pleasant and awesome dude. I would highly recommend a visit here.I had the scallops and they were great, we also ordered duck, and wagyu and they were big hits. Mahi Mahi was less so, but still good.

Party of 5 on Mother’s Day . Most of the tables were seated and fed by that point . We waited longer than usual for our food and when it came, our entrees were cold , not even warm. . I had also ordered soup as an appetizer and never received it . Our water glasses were never refilled.Very disappointed for this fine dining experience with high end prices . Not our first time here but probably our last . Not worth drive or the money .

Fantastic. Simone was our waitress and phenomenal. I took my mom for mother's day. Great experience.

We have dined at Yellow Dog several times and the experience was generally good. Last night, however, they were 0 for 4 from the kitchen. The conch fritters had no discernible conch, the meatball appetizer was as dense as a hockey puck, the meatloaf was the same. Both the salmon and jaegerschnitzel were overcooked and dry. Since most menu items are somewhat higher than average I would expect much better quality. It's possible that the kitchen gets slammed on a busy Saturday night so I will probably try again on a weeknight.

Went to celebrate my Birthday Mother's Day The service was wonderful. Lauren was great The food was great from appetizer, entree Mahi Mahi to dessert bread pudding with ice cream. This great restaurant for a special occasion
