Farmers Market - Makawao

Our friend recommended this farmers market to us when we visited Maui in 2010. We enjoyed it then and decided to stop by again during our trip in December 2012. This time, we noticed that the market seemed smaller with fewer vendors - probably less than 10. Most vendors were selling fresh, seasonal products such as island fruits and sweets. While there wasn't a wide variety, it was a nice and laid-back place located in a charming town center. Visitors could stroll down the street to explore other shops or grab a bite to eat at one of the cafes. The market is only set up on Wednesdays and Saturdays in limited quantities.
