Contribuiți la feedbackCafe Med, its shortcut name, still remains to be my go to place for Mediterranean cuisine. I found my way back here again today due to Eatigo's attractive 50% discount at a selected time. I got my usual juicy and well-seasoned Chicken Kebabs, paired it with warm Basmati rice and requested for extra plump grilled tomatoes. I also got to explore their Syrian dishes. If you purchase from this short menu you get to contribute to the victims of the current Syrian war. I picked the Vegetarian Stew. If not for its cream cheese it would have been tasteless. It was, however, filling as it had generous portions of potatoes and other vegetables. alwayshungry.ph
Grilled Chicken Mediterranean is ❤. Delicious ???? Worth the price ???? I don't like the Gyros though. But the taste was ok. Place is not that neat though but it 's ok. I hope they will provide a more comfortable ambiance for all.
The place was okay. It was designed well. Kinda dark and dim, but still okay. The servers were really nice. They were very attentive and alert. The food service was fast. The food was too salty for me. I guess it was the pickles that made it really salty in general. It was kinda hard to eat until I removed the pickles. Maybe I'm just not used to eating too salty foods. But hey, still a great place. Maybe I'll order something different next time.☺
It's my second time here this afternoon and it's as amazing as the first one. I did try their eggplant salad this time and my husband ordered a kofta burger. The beef gyro was just really good, meat was tender and flavorful with enough tomatoes, onions and lettuce which I totally enjoyed. Love their food, staff were very nice and prompt.
Authentic Mediterranean food - that's what Cafe Med represents. Unlike other commercialized Middle Eastern hubs sprouting across the Metro, they have stayed true to their roots all these years. From their rustic interior, to their mains, down to the last morsel of ingredient they put into every condiment, you can instantly tell they know what they're doing. A big personal favorite is their Gyro Plates (Beef & Lamb at P395/425). Aside from its savory taste and fine cookery (always served in perfect medium temp), generous servings are consistent. Best paired with buttered rice for an +P30. It also comes with their complimenting sides - I like to call them the 'Triple Threat': Moutabal, Tzatziki, & Tabbouleh. Even if you didn't know what they're called, I'm sure you'd gladly clean everything from your plate. Service is also nothing short of commendable. Will cause a bit of wallet 'damage' if you just intend to grab a quick lunch. Nonetheless, no reason not to come back.
