A friend in common recommended this place and the chef in particular, so as soon as we arrived we got a big hug and warm welcome to a cute table outside in the autumn sun, between the winery and the restaurant. We were first treated with great conversation and organic red wine, little home-made buns, delicious pumpkin soup with fresh herbs, perfect olives (they also produce organic olive oil) and chicken escabeche just like it should be. We ordered meat, of course, a skirt steak that melted in the mouth, topped with baked garlic and accompanied with wood-oven humita. I can't get over how good this combination was.The ojo de bife was amazing as well, perfectly cooked and came with a wood-oven Tomaticán (first time trying this beauty). Then, the dessert. Perfect home-made flan topped with dulce de leche.I can't find anything wrong with our lunch, we were so happy to at last find a place with true food, cooked from the heart and the actual land you were standing. Víctor Hugo is the man.
Dopo una visita alla cantina della Famiglia Cecchin, abbiamo pranzato in questo che è il suo ristorante. vista la buona stagione, abbiamo pranzato all'aperto in una splendida sistemazione di fianco alle vigne e sotto un enorme noce.Abbiamo gustato le proposte di pasta (tortelli ai funghi e al ragu).
Restaurante entre medio de las viñas, atención personalizada del mismo chef y comida exquisita, desde la entrada hasta el postre. Uno de los momentos más agradables de nuestra estadía en Mendoza. Se recomienda 100%!
Foi um momento maravilhoso, mágico. Um lugar cheio de histórias com a terra. Sustentabilidade e harmonia são sentidos nos sabores. Na melhor maionese caseiro da minha vida. Vinho orgânico. E sair com a receita de postre escrito por victor Hugo foi fenomenal.
A combination of art, music, and amazing food & wine; Victor Hugo and his passionate culinary team have created a little bit of magic here in Maipu, Mendoza. A must-do stop if you want a personalized experience at a boutique restaurant in Maipu, located at the organic Bodega Cecchin. Muy muy rico!
