It was on sourdough bread piled high with shaved turkey, lettuce, thinned sliced cucumbers and avocado with mayo. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was very quaint and the people were so nice.
What a pleasant surprise! I never write such a detailed review but we all felt the need to share our experience. It was a busy lunch service in this small quaint restaurant on Main st. The food was exceptional! Everything we had was fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous. I had the tomato basil soup with Italian sausage with half a sandwich that was so thick I could barely bite it and it came with a thick slice of delicious homemade bread. The others had the tuna plate which is scoops of fresh tuna on a HUGE salad that was so much that the leftovers barely fit in the full size to go container. It would have fed 3 people! Our biggest eater had the turkey bacon avocado sandwich and was full on one half of the sandwich. We shared a slice of white chocolate raspberry pie that was pure heaven. If there's a wait.... then wait.
If I could give 6 stars for the service I would. Not only attentive but friendly. I had the tuna sandwich, which was wonderful. Best I've ever had. My wife had chili and half sandwich and said both were excellent. After, my wife ordered the coconut cream pie. Wow! Luckily Bisbee is a great walking town, because we had a lot to walk off. If you're in Bisbee, don't pass this place up.
O had the turkey and cheese sandwich and it was fantastic. My wife had the spinach quiche and loved it.
Loved this little quaint Cafe. Great food. Fresh baked bread.
