The Boathouse At Boulters Lock

Really love the boathouse, amazing location. the opportunity to pamper the dogs in the evening when they were scrubing an evening, there were three dogs that were terrible at our last visit, another unpleasant one. I'm not gonna worry about the dogs during the day when they're just looking for a coffee.

Friendly welcome as always. very slow roasted lamb and our habitable vegetarian thought the veg wellington was excellent!

We had 2 sunday roasting was very bland seemed not seasoned at all. the cracking on the pork was not natural seemed filled with air? not a good plate of eating hardly anything on it 1 kartoffel, 1/2 carrot e.g. and was still made hungry after a head and a starter. Soup-Starter had burned Cumin seeds in him, and prawn-Starter was a gain gland the 3 contingent glasses on the table were not good quality and had no spoons we expected our own cutlery was not hygienic table was not put right, and no spoon with a suppenstarter noise level gave terrible could not hear them think and so many people seemed very loud no savor in ladies' look and no loo roll holder on the wall in the gents food prices seemed appropriate on the surface, but give them the amount and quality of food, not good value. drinks very expensive enters wein about £23.00, prosecco almost £7.00 a glass and limette soda £2.70 very disappointed. place was busy so I expect the restaurant to go well, but a very bad experience and will not return

A superb venue all round, but noisy, which is ok if you like it.

We was met by a lovely waitress who made sure we had a lovely meal, she couldn’t do enough!! Food is lovely and well worth the money
