Rick's Seafood - Mahopac

GREAT FOOD. Appetizers to die. Very friendly staff. Only down side was no wine. With that said you were allowed to bring your own. Will definitely be returning.

Terrible food, and service. Used to be very good, was terribly disappointed

Came here with short expectations...and good thing because even with these short expectations this place did not live up. I ordered the surf and turf. Surf was a frozen lobster tail which lacked flavor of any kind. Turf was a small filet which was not cooked correctly and lacked seasoning of any kind. Service was lackluster. Extremely long wait from seating to ordering. I felt as if I was in a waitress training university where all the students are failing. Do yourself a favor and take the trip to city island. This place is hell.

MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I ONLY JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS PLACE. THE FOOD WAS GREAT! ESPECIALLY LOVED THE LOBSTER BISQUE! We did feel that one waitress was 1 too few.... she had to do everything for everybody, and it kept her really busy. She was delightful though and handled it all very well.

Great for a leisurely dinner. Seems that kitchen is small so that interval between appetizer and main was a little bit longer than expected. However items were prepared and tasted great.
