Red Apple Cafe - Mahnomen

Is this the same red Apple Café that Bob Dylan once bussed tables at?

My husband and I love small town cafes, so we were excited to check out the Red Apple. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, but there's nothing great about it either. It's mostly clean, but the accommodations are old in a dingy, run-down sort of way. The food was very so- so. Nothing special... but again, it wasn't terrible. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, amusing, and cheery, and she wasn't intrusive (which is also important! . Overall, I would eat there again without complaint if I was in the area and that was all that was available, but I would never seek it out or bypass other options to do so.

Always love going to Red Apple, food is good, servers are friendly and it always feels good to see my old customers. Parking: Parking spot right on front of the building Wheelchair accessibility: There is no stairs to get into the building.

Excellent service, great home cooking like grama used to make!

Service was very personable and prompt. I enjoyed the food I ordered very much.
