Hayhu Beach Club - Mahahual

A hidden gem in the Mahahual/Costa Maya area. My wife and I saw reviews of the overcrowded, touristy beaches close to the Costa Maya cruise port and wanted to find somewhere away from the crowds to relax by the beach with good food and drinks. Hayhu exceeded our expectations. We took the 30 minute cab ride from the cruise port and spent about 4 hours at the beach club. There was maybe 15 other people there. The place is a vibe with really cool furniture and design. The music was quiet and mellow this is definitely a place to chill, not a party scene. The beach was clean and the water was beautiful turquoise. The drinks and food were a bit pricey (about $15 for a cocktail or burger) but both were very good, worth every penny in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and professional with good English too. If I ever go back to Costa Maya, I will be going straight back to Hayhu no doubt.

Todo está muy bonito, pero lo mejor del lugar es la comida. Es deliciosa, exquisita, la chef Graciela tiene un talento para cocinar, es la mejor. Tiene platos y sabores increíbles, ¡y además es súper rápido!

Uuuf es un lugar hermoso y uno de mis favoritos, situado lejos de Mahahual en un lugar donde no hay servicios como Internet, luz, agua; sin embargo, tiene todo lo necesario en un lugar remoto. La atención es excelente, la comida es simplemente deliciosa, el personal te hace sentir parte de la casa club con hamacas, camastros y una playa hermosa. Me encanta todo de este lugar, uno de mis favoritos. Saludos a Luciano, su atención es excelente.

Un lugar DE 10!!! Delicioso, la comida exquisita, el trato cálido y amable, todo muy profesional, el lugar bonito, de muy buen gusto y la playa WOW!! Lo único que yo recomendaría es que limpien un poco a su alrededor y que se note que les importa su entorno, una barridita alrededor y la naturaleza hermosa de su lugar se los agradecerá!! Pero ustedes suuuper bien!!

Absolutely amazing experience. The mescal drink with rosemary was so unique, everyone in our group loved their meals. It’s a private remote beach setting but with 5 star diamond restaurant style gourmet food cocktails at a very reasonable price.
