The Valley House - Maggie Valley

One of the best restaurants we dined during our travels. It's an extremely cute homestyle restaurant. The staffs were SO PLEASANT and COURTEOUS. The food was plentiful and awesome. I highly recommend the Chicken Pot Pie. Would love to visit again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Smokies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A wonderful, quaint little home repurposed as a good ol’ Southern restaurant. Your basic “Meat and three” menu, except it’s a protein with two sides, salad, bread, and dessert. We had the weekly specials of sautéed flounder and chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie was the standard pot pie filling (with lots of fresh chicken) baked with crumbled biscuits on top. Desert tonight was bread pudding or apple crumble. We’re about to enjoy those in the comfort of our room, though. The food was wonderful. We had the fried chicken and I’ve had a lot of fried chicken but this was the best I’ve had. Great staff , very family oriented. Will definitely be back on next trip. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
