Villa D'epoca - Maggia

The hotel is simple and good. It is more affordable than other options in the valley and has everything one needs. The rooms are a bit dated but overall in good condition. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was very good as well with some homemade treats. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the building is a beautiful classical mansion. Also the location is very convenient for hiking and other activities. What we do not know is whether the hotel offers a/c during summer. This would be a good feature for this hot region. One negative aspect was the fact that our room was quite noisy. The hotel is directly next to the main street which has heavy traffic already early in the morning. Apart from that however, we were very happy with our stay.

Suuuupperb location with scenic and quite surroundings!! Hospitality was top notch with sumptuous breakfast. Economical also. So, completely thumbs up!!
