The steaks and pizzas are super good, and seafood is a must try. We stayed there a few evenings in a small group and were always very satisfied.
We asked in my interlocutory Spanish for lunch with a beer and the man at the door said beer only outside. It was windy and cool, so we went back in. The waitress said to sit everywhere and brought us menus and a few bread with cheese bread. That's it. Others had beer inside! 3 servers circled around us at the other tables and looked at us every time they came by. We had closed our menus, no drinks and obviously no order placed, but no one ever came to our table. Others came in and were served. I speak Spanish well enough, so it wasn't like that. But we look like well-dressed Americans and not Argentinians. Do not go there to eat or drink when you expect service! We left $2 on the bread table and ran out. Nobody cared. We went down the beach to Coral and had a wonderful and tasty experience!
We had eaten two nights in a row because we liked it so much. The staff is very friendly and the wines are very delicious. In the first night I ate a Merluza with a wonderful sauce and in the second night I had a Lomo with a magnificent mustard sauce. And it's not a very expensive restaurant, so you should definitely do it.
Sara beach is an unexpected find! Outside is not chic, but inside is very beautiful. Sea view. We had lunch I had Anillas de Calamar While there was an appetizer, there was a lot of food including a salad. My husband had Filet de abadejo, who was perfect. The wine was great. Service was also great. We will visit again!
We were staying in a delightful hosteleria just across the road and this was the closest place to eat. We went on 2 consecutive nights. It was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We had the cod in a spinach sauce, the sirloin steak stuffed with mushrooms and the next night the ravioli stuffed with Zapollo/pumpkin and in a mushroom sauce. I totally recommend this restaurant. Each night the bill was about £30 including drinks. Great value and probably one of the nicest meals we have had in Argentina!
